2. Collection and storage of personal data, and the nature and purpose of its use

a) When visiting the website

When you open our website, the browser on your device automatically sends information to our website's server. This information is stored temporarily in a so-called log file. The following information is recorded without any action on your part and stored until it is deleted automatically:

  • IP address of the requesting computer
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the file retrieved
  • Website from which the access is made (referrer URL)
  • Browser used and, where applicable, the operating system of your computer

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes of data collection listed above.

b) When using the contact form

For questions of any kind we offer you the option of contacting us via a form provided on the website. A valid email address is required so that we know who the enquiry is from and can answer it. Further details may be provided voluntarily.

Processing for the purpose of contacting us takes place under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR on the basis of the consent you give voluntarily. The personal data we collect for the use of the contact form is deleted automatically once your enquiry has been dealt with.

c) When booking an appointment via Calendly

On our website we use the scheduling tool Calendly, provided by Calendly LLC, 271 17th St NW, Atlanta, GA 30363, USA. When you book an appointment via Calendly, the data you enter (name, email address and, where applicable, further details) is transmitted to Calendly and processed there.

You can find more information on data protection at Calendly here: https://calendly.com/privacy

The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent).

3. Disclosure of data

Your personal data is not transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below. We only pass your personal data to third parties if:

  • you have given your express consent to it (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR),
  • the disclosure is necessary to perform a contractual relationship with you (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR),
  • there is a legal obligation to disclose it (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR), or
  • the disclosure is necessary to safeguard legitimate business interests and to assert, exercise or defend legal claims (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

4. Cookies

Our website does not use any tracking cookies of its own. When Calendly is used, that service may set technically necessary cookies. You can find more information in Calendly's privacy policy.

5. Hosting
